THE STRUGGLE
I grew up in Amsterdam, and to be honest, I didn’t really like school. I had dyslexia and ADD, which made it hard for me to keep up, and as a result, I always felt out of place. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life, and so I started making choices based on what my friends were doing, even if deep down I knew they weren’t the right choices for me.
For years, I felt lost. I wasn’t happy with where my life was going, and I turned to drugs and alcohol to escape that reality. But no matter how hard I tried to distract myself, I always had this feeling that I was meant for something greater. I just didn’t know what it was yet..
